中国と台湾の政治的問題で台湾に対して中国側が台湾パイナップルの輸入禁止措置を実施して3ヶ月くらい経ったのでしょうか。行き先を一時的に失った台湾パイナップルが今は日本の市場で流通しています。日本としては台湾の美味しいパイナップルが手頃な価格で手に入るようになり、また台湾も新たな市場流通ができて両国とも有難い限りです。中国の外交政策はいつも中国にとって意にそぐわない問題が起きると感情的、衝動的な行動を取ることです。そして結果的に中国には不利益となり、対外イメージを自国自身で悪くしています。客観的に見て思うことは『天に向かって唾を吐く』と言ったところでしょうか。お陰様で美味しいパイナップルを頂くことができました。

傘立てや薪木のストッパーとして利用している「ステンレス鋼の鍛造品」です。鍛造品とは「鍛えて作る」と書く通り、高圧力に耐える強度を持つ製品で、実は30年近く前に弊社で製造されたプラント部品です。機械加工の時、寸法不良となり製品化できなかったものをスクラップにするのは忍びないので、家で使用しています。薪のストッパーとして利用しているフランジは、夢の原子力発電所となってしまった「もんじゅ」のナトリウム配管に使用される予定だったもので、ステンレスでも高価なSUS317Lという材質でできています。かなり高価なものです。当時はこのフランジを何百個も製品として納品したものです。また傘立てになっているのは超高層ビルの最上階まで水を送る「超高圧ポンプ」の部品になります。ただの「鉄の塊」と見えるのですが、この製品を作るために高度な技術と管理が必要なのです。それをどのようにコントロールし使用していくかがもっとも大切な事になりますね。
